Mokai Gravity Canyon occupies a unique position alongside and above a spectacular section of the Rangitikei River in the Taihape District. Through the operation of our business, staff and visitors interact with and experience a pristine river enviroment, substantial native reserves and walking tracks, historical features and stunning geological formations.

AIMS :
- Protect and Preserve all enviroments
- Involve staff in protecting and preserving all enviroments
- Encourage staff to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
- Implement, Monitor and demonstrate practical Reduction,
Recycling and Reuse policies
- Encourage visitors to interact with environment
- Educate visitors on historical, cultural, geological and
natural features of environment
- Educate and involve visitors in protection and preservation of
all environments
- Create and facilitate Department of Conservation Partnership
Programme
- Support and sponsor at least 2 Nationwide Charities each year
through fundraising and events
- Maintain a safe working environment for both staff and
visitors
Mokai Gravity Canyon Staff and Management are committed to
reducing our impact on the environment and developing a
truly sustainable business. We will achieve this by implementing
Environment Action Plans on the Aims listed above. In paticular,
the development of a Partnership Programme with Department of
Conservation will ensure we contribute to 100% Pure NZ !!!
